Dr. Covey received her post-professional doctorate degree of Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. With over 31 years of experience, her clinical expertise has focused on neurological injuries such as stroke and traumatic brain injuries, as well as hand and arm injuries such as wrist and finger fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, and degenerative changes from arthritis.
Dr. Covey is a certified SAEBO therapist and frequently uses SAEBO products in combination with neurostimulation and manual therapy as part of her highly successful approach for stroke recovery.
Dr. Covey has a large following and often sees success with patients who underwent therapy elsewhere without improvement. With Dr. Covey’s caring and unique therapies, patients are experiencing increases in functionality they never thought possible.
Beth has an interesting and diverse background. She has been a fitness instructor for over 22 years for a variety of adult fitness classes. This experience was the reason she decided to return to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Beth wants to help people achieve wellness goals after experiencing events that interrupt their lives. She also has a bachelor’s degree in art and uses her artistic talents to decorate cakes, draw pictures for family and friends and to occasionally paint murals.
Lindsey is an OT student looking to make hand therapy her long-term goal. She is currently a Cosmetologist of 10 years, but
she decided to switch careers after experiencing an injury that resulted in her being an OT patient. After seeing the valuable work and patient progress occupational therapy can provide, she found herself wanting to help others get back to their daily lives. She plans to attend Muskingum University for her Master’s Degree in the spring. For now we are lucky to have Lindsey as part of our Front Office staff.
